CME AccreditationThe Accreditation Council of Oncology in Europe (ACOE) has granted this meeting with 12 points on behalf of the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) . The EACCME endorsement permits to get European recognition of CME credits within the different European states who have agreed to participate in the European accreditation system. Following an agreement of mutual recognition between the UEMS and the AMA (American Medical Association) European CME credit become valid credit towards the Physicians Recognition Award (PRA) in the United States.
LocationThe 3rd-THNO congress will be held in the Mercure Eur Roma West Hotel, located in the heart of the Rome European District. The Conference hotel is located 15 minutes from downtown Rome and only 10 minutes drive from both Rome airports (Rome Flumicino and Ciampino Airport). The hotel is only 20 kilometers away from the Ostia Antica archaeological sites.
ClimateThe climate in Rome is generally pleasant. The city enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate, warm and sunny in autumn. Temperatures vary from 15°C till 25°C in November.
LanguageThe official congress language will be English. No simultaneous translation will be available.
Letter of invitationThe organizers will be pleased to send a letter of invitation to any individual requesting one, once their registration form and fee have been received. It is to be understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa. It is not a commitment on the part of the congress to provide any financial support. Applications have to be received by the conference secretariat before 10 October 2011. A refused visa application is no reason for refund.
InsuranceIn registering for the 3rd Trends in Head and Neck Oncology delegates agree that neither the organization nor the congress agency Congress Care is responsible for individual medical, travel or personal insurance. Delegates are requested to arrange their own travel and health insurance. The organizers cannot assume liability for changes in the program due to external circumstances. |
